Clothe him in a brighter color, ditch the pale skin, and he’d resemble a wacky waving inflatable tube man, sans the enthusiasm. He wears a black or gray suit, with a snappy red or black bowtie, and a plain white shirt that fits over his extra long arms. You would also know him for his lack of a face. This mythical creature is “reported” as ranging from six to sixteen feet tall. This being began as an Internet rumor and grew from there. Slenderman doesn’t have a generations-old backlog of sightings and stories.
Chant: “Slenderman, Slenderman all the children try to run, Slenderman, Slenderman, to him it’s part of the fun, Slenderman, Slenderman, dressed in dark his suit and tie, Slenderman, Slenderman, you most certainly will die.” Or, save the creepy trip to the woods, and download Slender: the Eight Pages first-person survival horror game instead. Lay your face against the tree with your eyes closed.
They say you can summon a Slenderman in real life by heading to the woods at night, carving a circle in a tree, and placing an “x” through it.
Removed one of the hidden modes (it was only a matter of time, since it contained copyrighted material).Don’t give in to your fear in this first-person survival horror game. Fixed a bug where the flashlight would try to illuminate a page on the other side of a wall. Added a pause feature, but you can only pause if there's no static (which prevents you from pausing the game in response to seeing the Slender Man). Added a menu option to automatically skip the intro. For the same reason, Distance Shade can no longer be turned off. The maximum distance you can see decreases as you collect more pages this is to keep the challenge similar for people who have fog turned off. This will allow you to jog or sprint for a much longer period of time, but makes repeated taps of the jog/sprint button cause your stamina to drain very quickly (effectively getting rid of a former exploit). When you start jogging/sprinting, however, it immediately deducts 5% of your stamina. Removed the cooldown for stamina recovery after jogging/sprinting, and reduced the stamina drain rate. Your jogging speed now increases gradually as more pages are collected. Added shadows (not especially noticeable except in lit areas). Added different light sources (unlocked after beating the game once).
Also now includes links to Slender Man info and YouTube series.
Improved main menu and added music to it. Added a subtitle to the game ("The Eight Pages") to differentiate it from future versions.
